Our first love:

Jesus has agape love for all of us. An unconditional love. A love that goes beyond words. We need a love that goes beyond affection to a self sacrificial love. And the way to find love is to step into the world and risk loving. Through Jesus, He has the perfect love. The love that we all as believers need to learn and love as. Jesus is the perfect example of love. Jesus loved us so much that He risked everything for us that day on Calvary. He died for our sins because He loves us and His heart was torn for us.

Jesus says: " A new commandment I give you; Love on another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men, will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13: 34, 35

God came to LOVE us not to use us. When I heard that I busted into tears. The reason He created us was to love us. How amazing is that to hear and to soak in. Let the Holy Spirit overwhelm your soul when you hear that. Many times we get this thought that God wants us in all these Ministries yet we are struggling with our own personal relationship with Him. Don't let anything get in the way of your relationship with Christ. The relationship with Him is the most important in ones life. It is in mine. I am not saying that God doesn't want us to use our gifts in ministry. I am simply saying that if your personal relationship with Christ is struggling then you need fix it with Him. He loves us so much that He longs for the time we wake up to spend the day with Him. He can't wait till we wake up and say Good morning Lord. He also loves to watch us sleep I believe. But He longs for us to love him and to be loved by Him.
Because God loves us He wants to Bless us.
People who are blessed by God first desire it in their heart.
Are you blessed by God? If the answers " NO" ask yourself one thing: Are you desiring to be blessed by God in your heart?
So many of us want God to bless us without putting anything into it. God wants us to desire Him whole heartily.
If you choose not to love, you can always choose to love AGAIN. God never gives up on you. How awesome is it to know that this Perfect God, Holy and Righteous God wants to be apart of this imperfect unworthy body? Its pretty awesome. It blows my mind as well as most people. Its so amazing it's hard to understand. What helps me is looking in the mirror and saying I am Blessed because I desire God 150% to bless me. God wants to bless us. He really truly does. Are you gonna let him? Are you gonna open your heart and desire what he has in store for you. I do hope so. As I travel this journey in my walk with God. I hope that I will encourage you as well.
